With an addition to the back of this 1950s ranch, we turned what was once a tiny galley kitchen into a bright and airy heart-of-the-home. The additional square footage created space for a proper dining room and added ample storage. Custom cabinets, a white oak island, and brass details pay homage to this home’s mid-century beginnings.
