Our Slabtown project in Northwest Portland underwent a comprehensive remodel with custom millwork and the addition of skylights throughout. We strategically redesigned the kitchen and dining room layout, integrating a small addition to the back entrance to enhance natural light. The basement now features a new bathroom, laundry room, and a comfortable family gathering space. Our approach to this historic Portland bungalow focused on enhancing its historic character while updating the aesthetic to meet our client’s preferences—a successful balance of form, function, restrained elegance, and a subtle touch of whimsy.
